I've moved back to my apartment in Virginia and had to adjust my Everyman 3 schedule for my new work schedule. In essence, I've moved everything 3 hours forward. Instead of having my core start at 1 am, it now starts at 4 am and ends at 7am. All of my naps are basically pushed back by 3 hours although I've had to push them around a little to work around some commitments that come up a few times a week. The adjustment to this has been a little rougher than I expected. I figured because I was sticking to the same sleep schedule with only a shift by a few hours I'd be okay. However, I'm finding myself incredibly tired at the times when my old naps were and have been forced to throw in a few extra naps to keep myself functional. Hopefully by the end of this week I'll be back on track and be able to see if I can make this a lasting habit.
I've been learning PHP, mySQL, JavaScript, and AJAX in my spare time and hope to be able to use it to build a set of tools for the Polyphasic sleepers in the future. I'm thinking a visual nap scheduling system, an alarm, and maybe a tie-in to the currently available open source task management programs would be a good start.
